Dahlonega’s Old Fashioned Christmas is a month-long celebration held from November 23 through December 23, 2018, set in motion with the Lighting of the Square. A real home-town parade officially bringing Santa to town occurs the first Saturday in December. Plenty of other festive holiday events continue almost daily throughout December with caroling, a holiday market, carriage rides and more!

Join the National Park Service for a campfire, guided hikes, and a beautiful autumn evening with the glowing stars overhead.
