Georgia Cancer Specialists (GCS) and Northside Hospital are collecting backpacks and suitcases for foster children in Georgia. Donations of new or nearly new backpacks, duffel bags and suitcases will be accepted. More than 14,000 children, from infants to teenagers, are currently in the foster care system in Georgia.

United Way of Greater Atlanta, Atlanta-based Futurus and GSU's Creative Media Industries Institute (CMII) are transporting visitors of the NFL’s Super Bowl Experience Driven by Hyundai through Feb. 3. Virtual reality (VR) Character Playbook, a character development program created by United Way, the NFL and EverFi, will immerse players in scenarios to make choices to handle challenging situations like bullying.
