What does wellness mean to you?

 

Salads, sit-ups, CBD and sleep? Meditation and meat-free meals?

While my fellow magazine editors splash out their trends for 2020 in their January issues, may I jump on the media bandwagon and toss out an idea?

 

I am going to try to push for more balance in the new year.

 

Yes, I’ll add crunches and yoga. But, I won’t cut my consumption of buttery croissants from Evergreen Butcher + Bakery in my neighborhood.  I want to increase the time I spend on community-building projects at my church, but I won’t give up evenings watching The Crown with my husband, parked on the sofa for hours.

Dr. Graivier’s Caesar

 

For dressing:

 

2/3 cup oil

1 inch squeeze of anchovy paste

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon pepper

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

2 teaspoon dijon mustard

2 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice

2-4 teaspoons chopped garlic

 

Mix and toss with romaine lettuce. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and croutons.
