What says “summer” more than swimming with friends and family. At Goldfish Swim School, your kiddos will get all the skills they need to become a safe and satisfied swimmer.
Every parent wants the best for their kids. It’s why development books, educational DVDs and parenting courses are so popular. But it’s all so overwhelming. So what works the best? Well, science says the foundation for a child’s cognitive growth is rooted in two key factors: a safe environment and learning through guided play at any age. Yes, play. This is how kids develop the skills that ultimately give them the courage to dive into new experiences.
Swimming lessons are specially designed to make learning fun through guided play for beginners from 4 months to 12 years old. Check the schedule for family swims in the shiver-free pool that’s heated to a pleasant 90°. For students who progress through the Pro Level swim classes, there’s a competitive program called Swim Force.
Goldfish Swim School was created by parents, for parents, with this goal in mind — to give kids the platform to build essential life skills that will help them make waves in life. They have created an inviting and safe place where kids overcome their fears, learn to swim, respect the water and have lots of fun while doing it. Their award-winning tropical environment and shiver-free pools are simply the fun backdrop for where kids do some serious growing and learning.
Smart parents will dive right into getting kids comfortable in the water and will show them just how important swimming is by jumping in themselves. At family swim, parents and kids can splash and play together, show off and just have fun in the water.

The Goldfish Experience was born when Co-Founder Jenny McCuiston realized the demand for quality swim instruction after teaching swim lessons at a local swim club in the summer of 2000. She became increasingly busy with customers, and her business grew steadily throughout the summer. In the summer of 2004, Jenny decided to teach swim lessons at a nearby country club. Jenny, again, realized the great need for quality swim instruction as she regularly accumulated a waiting list and her clientele grew to record-breaking numbers for the club by summer’s end. So, with the help of her husband Chris, Co-Founder of Goldfish Swim School, she began researching the swim industry in late 2004. They traveled the country, learning from other swim school owners at several swim school conferences before beginning the two-year development of their business plan. Mark Shepell owns the Johns Creek school and is behind Jenny 100%.
