Take Out for Dad

For those of you who work all day and don’t have time to cook, consider take-out from Kitchen of Atlanta. This very underrated and unassuming joint serves all dishes made-to-order and prepared by Owner and Executive Chef Pedro Manzano. Not only are they celebrating their fourth anniversary serving Johns Creek locals some of the best burgers around, but they have become known for their infamous KOA Sauce. The food is good and they always have an exceptional health score (of 98!), which is of utmost importance to Pedro and his staff. If you go by for dine in, take out or catering, make sure to ask for their delicious KOA sauce, made on the premises. 11030 Medlock Bridge Road, Johns Creek. kitchenofatlanta@gmail.com

Crest of Honors at Cambridge HS

Mr Stone and Mr Pomerance were recent winners at Cambridge High School for their teaching excellence. Mr Stone puts his whole heart into his job and obviously cares deeply for his students. He is so kind and yet firm. He said, “Four out of five days of the week, I can’t even believe I get paid to do this.” His positive attitude shows in everything that he does. His students are truly lucky to have him for their teacher and even as a prom companion. Mr. Adam Stone teaches Special Education in the CBI department. A parent said of Mr. Pomerance that he “has gone above and beyond” for a student to ensure the student was successful, and a student said that he “is a master of the material and explains the content so clearly.” He sponsors the school’s state champion math team and makes connections with students through leading Chess PAWS. Mr. David Pomerance is a resource to colleagues regarding content and technology. Alpharetta Lifestyle congratulates both stellar educators.
